The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but it's likely that the lorry driver wanted to take a shortcut through some very narrow country roads and punctured his fuel tank by striking a rock (or some debris) on one of the corners. Luckily, nobody was injured, but the value of damaged cars was estimated at over $700 000.

Is it me or does it seem like nothing happened to the truck (aka lorry) at all?!

Great that means 7 asshat drivers not on the road. But seriously its a sad day to see any car burn.

It's possible that some of the fuel from the puncture got sprayed over something hot (the brakes?) and ignited.

If the lorry was moving quickly while the fuel tank sprayed its contents over the cars, the cars would be set ablaze before the lorry.

Maybe Cadillac should adopt the tactic of burning down German car transports until Europeans have no choice but to buy their stuff? That could work.
